Culture

• Toastmasters International: Member of the Bray, Co. Wicklow Club since 1996. Achieved Competent Toastmaster status and served as Division Secretary for the Dublin Area, District Secretary for Ireland and the UK and Bray Club Secretary. Currently serving second term as Division Secretary for the Dublin Area.
• Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann: Member since Greystones group founded in 1997. Represented Wicklow in Fleadh Cheoil 2000 in Mullingar.
• Siamsa Fhéile Pádraig: Founder member, 1983. Greystones' Annual Celebration of St. Patrick's Day.
• Irish: Irish speaker, helps with Irish Mass, including serving as a Reader and singing in the Irish Choir.

Youth

• St. Brigid's National School, Greystones: Garden Committee, 1983-1992.
• St. Catherine's Special School, Newcastle: Helped children with swimming, 1984-1992.
• Mothers, Babies & Toddlers: Helped initiate drop-in mornings, 1986.
