Kathleen Kelleher was elected to Greystones Town Commission in June, 1999. She is currently a member of the new Wicklow County Development Board, an exciting new development for co-operation and development in Wicklow, and the Greystones Town Commission Development Committee. She is Chairman of the Greystones Town Commission Community Affairs Committee, which oversees the Christmas Lighting Ceremony and the St. Patrick's Day Parade. She is also on the Board of Directors of Wicklow County Tourism and a member of the Mid East Regional Tourism Authority. Kathleen brings to Greystones Town Commission experience and concern, together with a dedication and commitment to public service.

Kathleen Kelleher has lived in Greystones almost 27 years. She is a widow with four children. She has extensive church, community and civic involvement at all levels of Greystones life. Kathleen is well known in Greystones for her hard work and for her ability to work with people and get things done. Her numerous activities include Rathdown Park Residents Association and Greystones Cancer Support. In 1997, her contributions were recognised when she was voted Civic Person of the Year by Greystones Town Commission .
